David Ritz is also the CEO of Ritz Camera Centers and its group of affiliated companies. In 1978, David assumed the role of President, beginning a period notable as Ritz Camera's greatest time of expansion. Key store acquisitions, careful planning, and controlled expansion, have attributed to Ritz Camera's success and growth over the years. Under David's leadership, Ritz Camera Centers enjoys the recognition of being the number one company in the United States in the photographic retail specialty business with almost 1,200 locations in 48 states across the country. Ritz Camera Centers is also a leading retailer within the marine industry with 114 Boater’s World Marine super centers nationwide. David is a past president of PMA International and a PMA “Hall of Fame Award” recipient.
