INTERACTIVE REPORTS FIRST QUARTER
REVENUE GROWTH OF NEARLY 16 PERCENT
IRVINE,
Calif., May 25, 2006 – Ritz Interactive,
Inc., the e-commerce network that includes RitzCamera.com,
WolfCamera.com, BoatersWorld.com and other leading online-shopping
sites, reported a 15.7% increase in merchandise revenue
for the first quarter of 2006 over the same period last
year. First quarter merchandise revenue grew to $20.1
million in 2006, compared to $17.3 million during the
first three months of 2005.
Ritz
Interactive President & CEO Fred H. Lerner credits
the increase primarily to strong corporate account sales
and consumer demand for high-end single lens reflex digital
cameras at the online retailer’s photo-specialty
sites.
