INTERACTIVE APPOINTS SCOTT NEAMAND AS
VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
IRVINE,
Calif., May 27, 2004
– Ritz Interactive, Inc., the leading e-commerce
network that includes RitzCamera.com, WolfCamera.com,
BoatersWorld.com and other popular online shopping sites,
announced today the appointment of Scott Neamand as vice
president and chief financial officer.
Neamand’s
professional career includes nearly 19 years of executive
and managerial experience within the corporate financial
field. Before joining Ritz Interactive, Neamand served
as chief financial officer for the Los Angeles-based entertainment
company TOKYOPOP, Inc. Prior to that, he was chief financial
officer and senior vice president of Egreetings Network,
a publicly-held Internet content and services company
headquartered in San Francisco. Neamand has also served
as a vice president of finance with Universal Studios,
Inc. and as a senior manager at KPMG.
“Scott
brings with him a wealth of financial knowledge and business
savvy that will prove essential to the continued growth
and success of our Web network, said Ritz Interactive
President and CEO Fred Lerner. “He has also played
instrumental roles in raising money in both the private
and public equity markets.”
Neamand
graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara
in 1985, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Business Economics with an accounting emphasis. He is
a CPA and a member of both the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified
Public Accountants.
Neamand
officially joined Ritz Interactive, Inc., on March 29,
2004.
